Ever Coming shocks and awes readers with Riding Her Unicorn: A BBW Shifter Romance from the Woodland Creek Series.

Jason is a billionaire Unicorn shifter who is in town on family business.  Amber is a broken Jaguar shifter squatting in his great aunt’s house as she tries to fix her Jaguar. At first glance they are each hot for the other, but will their romance last or will it fizzle out like the fierce storms that continue to threaten the town? Storms that bring with them not just new friends, but also long sought after answers for all. Can a billionaire Unicorn shifter fix a broken Jaguar?
I have to admit this was my first Ever Coming book and my first BBW book, but as so many have noted before me: romance is the same no matter how big or small a female is. Now with that out of the way, this was a jaw dropping, eye popping OMG kind of book! Definitely an 18+ book. The only problems I found was that the beginning was kind of confusing with the way the back story was added, it jumps from the present to the past back to the present without any warning. Also, there were numerous grammatical errors that slow the flow of reading.  Other than that I’m over here wondering when we will get to read more about Amber and Jason. Coming has carved out very detailed characters who help to draw the reader in and keep them there and wanting more. Riding Her Unicorn is only 114 pages, but it is packed full of romance, suspense, and drama. I’m definitely going to have to check out Coming’s other books!

I received this book free from the author in exchange for my honest review.

In "First Season/Bride to Be", Jane Ashford combines two seemingly different yet delightful Historical Romance novels into one book.

 First Season

First Season introduces the reader to Lady Anabel Wyndham, a young widow, and her family as she embarks on a journey of romance during the London Season. During her stay she becomes entangled in a love triangle of sorts with Sir Charles Norbury, a London socialite who peaks her interest, and Christopher Hanford, a neighbor from home who seems to have a comforting effect on both her and her children. Who will she choose? Or will Lady Anabel’s choice be made for her?

Jane Ashford does a great job luring the reader into the world of Lady Anabel Wyndham. She makes you feel like you are the one walking in Anabel’s shoes.  At times, the story seems to resemble so many other romance novels, but then out of no when just when you think you have the story figured out Ashford smacks the reader with a plot twist that sends you guessing what will happen next. Overall a great read and I would love to read more about the characters of the First Season.

Bride to Be

Emily Crane and Lord Richard Sheldon’s first meeting seem to set the precedent for the rest of their relationship. She finds him attractive and he finds her alluring, yet once he is gone, they figure they will never see each other again. That is until Emily goes to stay with her Aunt for the London Season. Even as he tells himself he isn’t interested in her and she tells herself she is only doing this to save his life, fate seems to have other plans. While dodging a killer, scrambling for clues, and faking an engagement for the sake of a scandal they end up thrown together in what ends up being the most passionately dangerous adventure of their lives. The only question that remains is will they make it out alive?

In my opinion Bride to Be is by far the better of the two novels in this book. Even though at times the story can drag on, it still provides much-needed details to help the reader understand the whole concept of the plot. Overall, though, the story is very intriguing and keeps the reader on their toes and guessing about what is going to happen next. It is because of this that I would have had to also place it in the category of Mystery as well as Historical Romance. These are characters I would love to know more about.

I received an ARC of this book for free in return for my honest review.

Review: The Wrong Girl

The Wrong Girl The Wrong Girl by C.J. Archer
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

"The Wrong Girl" definitely keeps you guessing. Every time I thought I had it figured out someone else came along or something else happen to shake things up again. The dialogue does move a bit slow for my taste especially with everything that is going on but, in the end it all works out because Archer gives tons of back story to help build on what is to come. If you are looking for a not so typical book "The Wrong Girl" is for you. It's like Sherlock Holmes meets Alfred Hitchcock meets Carrie all crammed into 219 pages. It has the right amount of mystery, suspense, and paranormal to keep you interested and steady guessing. Can't wait to read Book 2!

"The Wrong Girl" is Book 1 of a 3 part trilogy in The 1st Freak House Trilogy Series.

Review: You First: Journal Your Way to Your Best Life

You First: Journal Your Way to Your Best Life You First: Journal Your Way to Your Best Life by Lea Michele
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

If you're looking for a beginner journal, this would work well for you. It also works well for advanced journalers as well. I myself have journaled for over 20 years and this book was a refreshing take on journaling. It scripts your thoughts and gives you lots of room to work through the well thought out questions it asks. Questions that help you narrow down exactly what you want out of life and how to get it. It covers a range of topics beginning with your family history all the way to your future health and fitness goals. Some of the topics seem unnecessary, but they all work together to create a unique journaling experience. Well worth the price and this journal is one that can be used for years to come as well as looked back on to review your life goals as they are accomplished.

Review: The Wanderer

The Wanderer The Wanderer by Vincent Trigili
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

'The Wanderer' is an extremely enticing book that drags you in from page one. Silverleaf and Kaylissa are both well-developed characters and I can't wait to see where the story takes them. Even though I am not a fan of short books there is no way I could just stop with this season. I definitely can't wait to read all seven episodes in The Dragon masters' series. Trigili has layed out a new and exciting world that I can't wait to explore with every additional season!

Review: Awakening

Awakening Awakening by Vincent Trigili
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Trigili continues to pique readers’ interest in the second Episode of “The Silverleaf Chronicles”; Awaking. Even though Awaking doesn’t pick up directly when The Wanderer left off, Trigili does an awesome job of filling in the missing years without over sharing. Silverleaf and Kaylissa have developed even more as characters and I can’t wait to see how their story ends. The twist and turns of their lives so far defiantly have me hooked.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an unbiased review. I highly recommend this book and all of Trigili’s others as well.

Review: The Hunters

The Hunters The Hunters by Vincent Trigili
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I am in absolute awe of Vincent Trigili. He has somehow morphed me into the biggest short story Science Fiction/ Fantasy junkie of all time. I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for the next episode, and this comes from someone who loves a 500-page romance novel.

This book, like the others, follows Silverleaf and Kaylissa as they continue on their journey of discovery. With each word, we learn a little more about each character as they also begin to get to know and understand each other.

If you are just starting out, I highly recommend you start with the Episode 1: The Wanderer so you don’t get lost in the fast pace of the series; plus it is free and every reader I know loves a free book. Trust me, even if you’re not into this genre it is defiantly worth trying, Trigili has a way of pulling you in so that you can’t help but love his books.

O'Yeah, by the way, I received a copy in exchange for an unbiased review but even if I had to I would have bought the book because it is absolutely amazing!!!

Review: Omega

Omega Omega by S.M. Reine
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This book totally blew me out of the water! It is one of the best Urban Fantasies I have read in a long time. SM Reine definitely shakes things up by taking shapeshifting to the next level with numerous shifter species. I could list them for you, but that would ruin the surprise. However, I will tell you this; to find out what kinda shifter Deirdre Tombs, the Omega, is you will have to keep reading until book 2! Don't worry it's well worth the wait and Omega has a lot of juicy secrets to reveal as well. Like for instance how Everton Stark can easily compel all shifters to do his bidding; all shifters except Deirdre Tombs. Even if Stark isn't able to force compulsion onto Tombs could he still cause her to freely do his bidding. Could there be more between Stark and Tombs besides Alpha and Omega?

Omega is the first book in the War of the Alphas series and even though not necessary it would be easier to follow, in my opinion, if you have already read Seasons of the Moon, Cain Chronicles, and the Ascension series.

Review: Elemental Arcane

Elemental Arcane Elemental Arcane by Phaedra Weldon
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Definitely not what I expected, it was better. The first chapter threw me off making me put it down for a while wondering if it was worth my time. It really wasn't what I was expecting, but being me I gave it a second chance and Weldon welded her magic over me and drew me into the ever exciting world of Samantha Hawthorne. Now I'm hooked and can't get enough. Glad I decided to keep reading because with every new page it gets better and better!
